26-10-16 University admission for athletes in 2016-2017 academic year
Far earlier than in previous years, the Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs is announcing today, 26/10/2016 the results for university applicants admitted under the terms of admission for athletes for the 2016-2017 academic year.
The results are available online at http://results.it.minedu.gov.gr
Candidates may be informed of results online by entering their eight-digit personal code and four letters - first letter of their surname, of their given name, of their father’s name and of their mother’s name.
Candidates who are admitted without quantitative quotas to a university, faculty, or tertiary technical school of their choosing may be informed of their results either with their eight-digit number or by calling - 210-3442705, 210-3442696, 210-3442693, 210-3442661.
Registration of those admitted will be between Tuesday, 1 November 2016 and Friday, 11 November, 2016.
The above deadline is binding and students will register for the first semester.
Registrants must submit by the aforementioned deadline, either in person or through a legally authorised representative, to the secretariat of the faculty or department to which they have been admitted, the following documentation:
- Registration Application
- A photocopy of the high school diploma, in accordance with Article 11 of law 2690/1999 (Government Gazette A’ 45), as amended by Paragraph 2 of Article 1, chapter A of law 4250/2014 (Government Gazette A’ 74).
- Notarised statement that they are not registered in another university or faculty in Greece.
- Six photocopies of police ID card.
Admitted athletes who arrive to register must present their police ID card or another public document proving their identity.
Anyone registered at another university must relinquish their current spot in order to register for their new university.
Documents submitted to the Education Ministry will be sent to the university to which candidates have been admitted by internal mail.
