09-11-16 Ministry legal aid programme for minors, youth in vulnerable groups
The programme Legal Aid for Youth for 2016-2017 has commenced under the auspices of the Education Ministry General Secretariat for Lifelong Learning and Youth. The aim of the programme is practical legal aid support for minors and youth up to 35 years old, who belong to vulnerable social groups, for specific criminal, civil, administrative and labour disputes.
The General Secretariat for Lifelong Learning and Youth invites all bar associations to submit applications to participate by Friday, 18 November, 2016.
Through the updated programme guide the Secretariat for Lifelong Leaning and Youth successfully addresses the continual shifts in social realities and prioritises legal cases concerning labour disputes, protection of unaccompanied minors, intra-family relations, and over-indebted families.
.The Legal Aid Programme for Youth is part of the Secretariat¨s central social policy initiatives to defend the rights of youth.
