The 2nd Greek-German Youth Forum aims to bring into contact youth workers from Greece and Germany, in order to explore opportunities for future cooperation, to promote youth activities and to share good practices.
The cooperation and dialogue between Greece and Germany in the youth sector is an important issue. Both countries and their civil societies are cooperating in many programmes in their efforts to intensify the mobility of youth between the two countries. The 2nd Greek-German Youth Forum aims to bolster and expand these contacts.
Pursuant to the 1st Forum that was held in Germany in 2014, this year the second part is being organised, to give participants the opportunity to create a field of new youth cooperation.
This year’s forum focuses on issues of social inclusion and international cooperation in the youth centre.
The objectives of the seminar are:
- Promotion of informal education and inter-cultural learning
- Exploring the needs of students in both countries
- The extension of the needs of youth in both countries
- Creation of long-term cooperation between youth organisations in both countries
- The exchange of good practices, particularly regarding the induction of refugees
The above activitity is directed at individuals active as youth workers, who have experience in the areas of the social induction of youth on the international and bilateral level.
