23-11-16 Hiring of 45 Secondary School Special Education teachers

The Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs announces the hiring of 45 special education teachers (categories PE02.50 and PE03.50), as temporary, substitute teachers, with limited-term private law contracts, for the 2016-2017 school year, at  KEDDY (Diagnostic Centres of Differential Diagnosis, Diagnosis, and Support of Educational Needs).

The hiring is part of the implementation of the ACT “Development of Support Structures for the induction, inclusion and integration of students with disabilities and/or special education needs, for the 2016-2017 school year”, with the code OPS 5001982. It is part of the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources, Education, and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.

Those hired must appear before their local Regional Directorates of Primary School and Secondary School Education to assume their duties between Thursday, 24 November, and Friday, 25 November, 2016. There, they will be posted by decision of the local Regional Directors of Education at the KEDDY where they were hired, to serve until the end of the school year 2016-2017.
