15-07-16 Consultation on specifications of digital upgrade at schools
A process is underway for the upgrade of digital technology infrastructure for information and communications at select primary and secondary schools. The first phase entails procurement of equipment at 134 schools nationwide. In the equipment selection process the application that schools submitted to http://edulabs.minedu.gov.gr/ will be considered.
Education Ministry Secretary General Ioannis Pantis has opened public consultation on the specifications of the equipment listed below. The list was drafted by the competent committee.
• Code 13 - SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER)
• Code 14 – Stable computers (FAT CLIENT)
• Code 15 - (HEADSETS)
• Code 16 - (SWITCHES)
• Code 17 - (3D PRINTERS)
• Code 18 - (3D SCANNERS)
• Code 19 – (Primary School Robotics Sets)
• Code 20 – (Junior High School Robotics Sets)
• Code 21 – (High School Robotics Sets)
Proposals and comments should be submitted to dikyy@minedu.gov.gr, by filling out, signing, and stamping the attached form, which will be posted at http://www.minedu.gov.gr.
The public consultation will be for 10 days, starting with this announcement, at http://minedu.gov.gr/.
This announcement will be sent to the Athens Chamber of Commerce, the Athens Professional Chamber, the Athens Chamber of Small and Medium Industries, and the Association of Computer and Communications of Greece.
