07-07-16 July 8 deadline for computerised preference cards

The Ministry of Education, Research and Religious affairs reminds university candidates who sat for nationwide exams this year that the deadline for email submission of their computerised university faculty preference cards is tomorrow, Friday, July 8, 2016.

Candidates who wish to submit their preference declaration but have not yet obtained the required personal computer system password must contact their high schools at the latest tomorrow, July 8, during school hours, in order to obtain a password.

With this password they can access the preference card declaration on the official Education Ministry website (http://exams.it.minedu.gov.gr). After they declare their final choices, they must lock their preference card declaration by pressing Finalisation (ΟΡΙΣΤΙΚΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ).

The finalised preference card is automatically assigned a ministry protocol number, proving the submission.

After this finalization, the Computerised Preference Card is filed in the Education Ministry database, and no changes or amendments by candidates is possible.

Candidates are advised to print out and/or save on their computer the finalised preference card, so that they may refer to their choices at any time.

Candidates should know that July 8 is a strict deadline, after  which no candidate may finalise their preference card.
