16-07-16 Greek students in Trabzon for Gymnasiade competition safe

There is no reason for alarm for the families of the 93 students and their teacher-chaperones who are in Trabzon, Turkey competing in the International School Sport Federation Gymnasiade, along with 3,000 students from 30 countries.

The Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs is in constant contact with the head of the delegation in Trabzon, and preparations are already underway for the safe return of the Greek delegation to Athens, as soon as possible.
